On June 13th, 2024, the workshop organised by the BIOBASEDCERT cluster on The Role of Certification in Global Trade Flows in Bio-based Value Chains took place in the context of the π‘πžπ§πžπ°πšπ›π₯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐚π₯𝐬 π‚π¨π§πŸπžπ«πžπ§πœπž in Koln, Germany.

Representatives of the three projects, Myrna van Leeuwen from WECR (NL), Olaf Porc, nova-Institute (DE) and Marisa Groenestege, BTG (NL), presented the cluster’s work and discussed their so far findings and insights in trade flows of biological feedstocks and biobased materials in global regions along with the role of Certification Schemes and Labels.
