We are pleased to share the main outcomes of SUSTCERT4BIOBASED’s recent work on enhancing sustainability certification for biobased systems. In a newly published article by Innovation News Network, and in view of the conclusion of the project at the end of May, we highlight how current certification schemes perform, where gaps remain, and how our work is helping guide future improvements.
The article outlines the project’s core findings on the transparency, robustness, and market acceptance of existing schemes, as well as provides recommendations for increasing their relevance and uptake.
